How can I find a list of courses or subjects that offer tutoring? 

Log in to Accudemia at https://oglethorpe.accudemia.net/login to view all tutoring services and subjects. Don’t forget to use “.net”!

What can I expect from a tutoring session?

Tutoring sessions are built around your needs. You will have the opportunity to ask questions, review important concepts, and learn study strategies.

How do I schedule a tutoring session?

Visit Accudemia at https://oglethorpe.accudemia.net/login to find tutor availability by subject and schedule an appointment. For the Fall 2020 semester, all sessions will occur via Zoom.

What is the difference between a drop-in session and a one-on-one session? 

Drop-in sessions do not require an appointment (You must sign up for a drop-in session in Accudemia), and each session is open to more than one student. A one-on-one session requires an appointment, and you will be the only student in attendance with the designated tutor.

Are there still drop-in tutoring sessions this semester?

Yes, drop-in tutoring sessions will be held via Zoom. Log in to Accudemia to search for available drop-in sessions.

Who do I contact if I need to cancel my appointment?

Log in to Accudemia and navigate to the appointment that you would like to cancel and click the “Cancel” button at the top. If you would instead like to reschedule the appointment, then click “Reschedule” and follow the provided directions.

I am having trouble logging into Accudemia. Who should I contact?

If I do not have access to Zoom, how else can I attend a tutoring session?

All tutoring and SI sessions will be hosted remotely via Zoom. Please the [email protected] and [email protected] for assistance. You can also visit the Zoom Help Center here: https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us

How do I join a Zoom meeting?

Each tutor will have a personal meeting ID (PMI) for each Zoom meeting. You can find this PMI by logging in to Accudemia and viewing your upcoming appointments. You must schedule an appointment in order to view the PMI.  When the time comes for you to join your session, please click on the Zoom link located within Accudemia to open your Zoom session.
