Academic Support

Student Success offers various forms of free academic support to help students succeed academically, including writing support, tutoring, and supplemental instruction. Academic support is offered in different formats, whether through workshops, one-on-one, or group methods. All appointments can be made through EAB Navigate; virtual and in-person options may be available.

With tutoring, students generally have a question or problem they need to solve; tutoring sessions are built around your needs. During a session, you will have the opportunity to ask questions, review important concepts, and learn study strategies. On the other hand, supplemental instructors attend class with students and re-teach some of the content to reinforce learning. SI’s hold office hours and group study sessions to review important course concepts, answer questions, and offer study tips.

Your professor will introduce your SI to the class. Please note that not all classes offer supplemental instruction.
